It's a girl!!!

Our daughter Olivia was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala on February 18 at 11:36pm. She weighs 5 lb. and is very healthy. Here is how we found out: On Friday night, March 2, during one of the biggest blizzards we've seen in years, we got a call from our adoption coordinator Sonya. She asked us if we were really ready for a referral. We of course said yes. She said ,"I have a little girl", told us more about her and asked if we would be interested. YES, YES, YES!!! So she sent us pictures and more information via e-mail. The next day we called her back and officially accepted the referral. We weren't quite paper-ready, but our agency felt we were close enough that it shouldn't make a difference. We are so excited and are hoping that the last piece of paperwork we need, the I-171H, gets to us ASAP!
