Oh, PGN

How can one building and all the "goings on" within it cause so much stress for so many people?!?! It looks innocent enough, not at all like the "black hole" it's described to be. This is where our paperwork sits right now. It's been there for 8 weeks, which really isn't that long in comparison to some. I guess you get a little antsy when you hear of people getting through PGN in 3 days, one week, or even two weeks. Each adoption case is so different, and we're beginning to understand that!

We continue to pray for patience and that the Lord will work in the hearts of those who are dealing with our case. Our God is great and can do anything he desires.
We know He moves mountains, we were witness to that this weekend when my niece Amanda was in a serious vehicle accident on her way home from a Serve project in Michigan. The van they were in rolled several times, and Amanda had to be cut from the vehicle. From there she was airlifted to the nearest hospital in Illinois. Miraculously she is fine and home again, obviously God's hand was on her and the rest of the Serve team. How can we ever doubt God's love for us? Or that He still performs miracles? Or that prayer is powerful?

So anyway, for the time being we're keeping ourselves extremely busy, which helps the time pass. I'm torn between wanting time to fly so that Olivia is home sooner and wanting it to slow down so I can enjoy this summer with the boys! Either way, something good is happening. So if God chooses to put this mountain of PGN behind us, then GREAT! But for the time being we're praying for the strength to keep climbing it.

So thankful your niece is ok! Praying for God to quickly move the mountain of PGN, and hold you close through it all.
