We're Here!

I finally have time to post, it's been pretty busy since we arrived late on Thursday night. Our flights were delayed coming into Houston so we arrived in GC about three hours late, because of tropical storm Erin. Thankfully ours was the only flight not cancelled from Omaha to Houston.

On Friday we toured Antigua for the day. We really liked it. I love architecture so it was really interesting for me, I think everyone else enjoyed it too. :) We learned alot about the history of Guatemala, which will be nice to share with Olivia someday.






Then Friday night after supper Olivia came to us. She had changed so much in just two and a half months. She turned six months old on Saturday, she had been 3 1/2 months when we last saw her, I forgot how quickly babies change! She holds her head up really well, and her back is fairly strong, and she will put some weight on her legs. We were so pleased by that! She has slept pretty much through the night both nights, we are so, so thankful for that! Mama needs her sleep!! She only cat-naps throughout the day but that's ok if it means she'll sleep all night!








We need to thank you for praying for us throughout this journey, we felt them and God heard. We can't wait to see you all when we return.

Just one more prayer request: Hurricane Dean is suppose to hit the Yucatan Penninsula tomarrow or Tuesday, that is just north of here. We don't think it will affect us much here in the city, but it may affect our flights on Wednesday, especially if Dean heads up to Houston. Please pray for safety of travel for us on our return Wednesday. We so appreciate your prayers.
