It's a Match!

Our DNA results came back yesterday and it is a match. We didn't really doubt that it would be, but it's nice to have one more thing that we can check off our list. Now we can get working on the pre-approval of her visa. This is suppose to take about 45 days. We need this pre-approval to enter the next phase of the court system called PGN. Those are initials for a fancy Spanish name that I can't remember right now! Anyway, PGN is where it will get really unpredictable. Some call it the Black Hole, because cases go in and just seem to disappear for weeks on end. We have heard of some cases that have gone in and out of PGN in 4 weeks and some that have been in there for 25+ weeks, so we just have no clue what to expect when we get to that point. But, we have at least 45 days before we have to think about it!
